NON ENGLISH SPEAKING PATIENTS - CALD (Cultural and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds)

To further assist nurses in the quality delivery of care, here are a range of vital sentences and phrases in key languages for nurses and patients to 'point to' to communicate in cases where the patient does not speak English.                                                                                       

All Sir Charles Gairdner staff can select, open, print off and use these materials as part of the annual subscription agreement. The language materials can be printed off individually, or as an entire book. There is also a 'helper' section to assist in the identification of the language.
