About the Diary
How we started
We had heard of a nurse working on a ward
where none of her patients could speak English,
which she found very frustrating.
We thought of a phrase book, with basic useful
sentences in English and other languages that
patients and nurses could just 'point to' to communicate
would be a very useful tool. Then we saw that the current
'nurse diaries' in the marketplace were cheap overseas
imports with a few addtional pages tacked on - so we
decided to survey 200 nurses for details of what size and
contents of a diary for Aussie Nurses would need...
We are always looking for addtional ideas and
feedback on our diary - and we are keen to reward
such input! Please drop us and email or give us a call
if you have a way to help further improve the diary..
